Faceless Portrait Art
So this was an interesting task, I was going to take a normal human face and basically, using AI technology, turn them into Slenderman! What I mean by this is that I’m made a faceless portrait! It sounds creepy but it’s honestly not that bad!
Here’s the progression on it, which as you can see here, it’s jarring at the moment and I will make it look better, I promise!
Smoothing it out so it looks better overall.
Just editing the tint of the whole piece.

Here is the faceless portrait that I was tasked to make to learn how to use AI to my advantage. I created this piece as I wanted to learn how I could use AI to edit an image and to learn different technique to make the most out of adobe programs and get a wide variety of results.
It also fits into the theme of metamorphosis as I am using different techniques to change an image. I created this piece by using a feature on adobe illustrator called Content Aware Fill which selects a section of an image and using the colours around it, tries to replicate those colours in a realistic way.
For a first attempt, I got to say that I am really happy with it as I was able to get a hand on the content aware fill feature and make something nice using it. However, I think I could improve the piece by making the piece look less like it had the content aware fill feature used because I am not sure about you but it does look like that to me and I want it to look a little smoother and natural. But hey, it’s a first attempt and overall, I’m still happy with it. What I had learnt here is how to use the content aware fill feature to change and edit an image so that if I need to remove something, I could make it so that it doesn’t look jarring and it looks smooth.
